Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about the SafeBreach CTEM Platform?
The SafeBreach Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) Platform is designed to help organizations move from reactive security to a proactive, closed-loop risk management program. It utilizes the new SafeBreach Helm AI infrastructure layer—and three purpose-built AI agents—to operationalize the five-phased CTEM framework. The platform empowers organizations to continuously identify, prioritize, and remediate cyber risk at scale.
SafeBreach Helm is the intelligent AI infrastructure layer that allows users to manage the entire CTEM lifecycle through simple, conversational prompts. SafeBreach Helm orchestrates three purpose-built AI agents—the Analyst Agent, Validation Agent, and SecOps Agent—that complete tasks aligned to the CTEM stages.
For example, you can ask Helm a question like: “Show me where Volt Typhoon would land in my environment and what to fix first.” Helm will dispatch the Analyst Agent to scope and prioritize vulnerabilities, the Validation Agent to validate which paths are actually exploitable, the SecOps Agent to turn the findings into remediation, and give you one unified answer back. As a result, users are able to turn CTEM from a theoretical framework into a continuous program that drives faster, more measurable risk reduction.
AEV serves as the foundational layer of the CTEM framework by validating whether identified exposures are actually exploitable by real-world attackers. The SafeBreach Exposure Validation Platform combines breach and attack simulation (BAS) to test control effectiveness with attack path validation to see how an adversary might move through a network. This empirical data is used by the Validation Agent to identify exposures that pose a verified threat to an organization’s business-critical assets.
The SafeBreach CTEM Platform is uniquely grounded in the SafeBreach Exposure Validation Platform, the only AEV platform with more than a decade of experience. When combined with our enterprise expertise, our validation dataset—which is the most extensive in the industry—and the powerful AI orchestration capabilities of SafeBreach Helm, SafeBreach is able to provide a complete platform that not only removes the complexity of operationalizing CTEM, but also meets the safety and scalability requirements of enterprise customers.
